CITIC at the University of a Coruña took part last friday, september 25, in the sixth edition of the Galician Researcher’s Night (G-Night), an European science outreach initiative that turned the city into a meeting point between reasearch and society.
At Darsena da Mariña, researchers Fernando Mondragón Sampedro, Adriana Anido Alonso, Alejandro Mayorga Redondo and David Vázquez Lema presented several educational board games based on quantum computing and sleep medicine. In addition, the team used the occasion to share their research with the public, explaining the work they carry out at CITIC in these two fields.
This activity formed part of an afternoon of more than twenty talks and workshops held at the same venue, which also included other CITIC contributions such as “AI against hate” and the XINE-IA project on AI applied to personalised medicine.
